The festival took place between 12 and 25 June 2021. At the summer WoW Festival, we were exploring women’s lives and celebrating their accomplishments.
The WoW Festival presented the accomplishments of women* from different walks of life in the most diverse historic periods and places. Many of them were forced to leave their homes and, in addition to every-day challenges, engage in fierce struggles in order to establish their place under the sun, whether they ended up going abroad or coming to Slovenia from foreign lands.
* The term woman is also used to address trans- and other non-binary persons.
