Through its activities Gendernet seeks to create artistic and cultural production in the spirit of gender mainstreaming; to provide physical space for interdisciplinary, creative action, thought and expression in the field of new cultural practices.

Gendernet brings together regional women, feminists, queer festivals, media websites and initiatives who are a part of the continuity of feminist practices of the nEXt YU region. The platform currently counts 14 members from five states: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia.

We want to connect with the artistic and cultural organisations from Europe in order to increase mobility, networking and exchange of knowledge and experience between artists, curators, activists and theorists in both real and cyber space.
